HOW TO PLAY

Please read the following information and the Official Rules before registering.
Contestants must enter by filling out the Online Registration Form.

You may start making your selections within the men's tournament on Sunday, March 16th, 2008. You will be allowed to make your selections from this time until Thursday, March 20th, 2008 at 11:00 AM (ET). The men's tournament concludes on Monday, April 7th, 2008.

Grand Prize Contest

To be eligible to win the Grand Prize, one entrant must correctly guess at least 63 of the possible 64 matchups. In the event of a tie (more than one person choosing at least 63 of the possible 64 matchups) a drawing between the eligible qualifiers will be held to determine the Grand Prize winner. A maximum of one (1) grand prize will be awarded.

1st Prize Contest

The contestant with the best score after all six (6) rounds of play will be the 1st Prize Contest winner. Only one (1) 1st Prize Contest prize will be given away. If needed, total combined score of the championship game will be used as the tie breaker. In this scenario, the person closest to the combined total score with out going over will be determined the winner. If there is still no winner, a drawing will be held.

Points for correct picks are as follows: (total points possible: 168).  Round 1 – 1 pt, Round 2 – 2 pts, Round 3 – 4 pts, Round 4 – 8 pts, Semi-Final – 12 pts, Championship – 16 pts.

2nd Prize Contest

The contestant with the 2nd best score after all six (6) rounds of play will be the 2nd Prize Contest winner. Only one (1) 2nd Prize Contest prize will be given away. If needed, total combined score of the championship game will be used as the tie breaker. In this scenario, the person closest to the combined total score with out going over will be determined the winner. If there is still no winner, a drawing will be held.

  • Any game times listed are eastern time.
